Patient Need Groups

You may notice a test result or message appear on your NHS app that refers to patient need groups. This is part of our work to support continuity of care.

It’s simply a way we categorise patients based on their individual health needs, so we can make sure you receive the right support, from the right clinician, at the right time.

This note is for our internal systems only – it requires no action from you and is absolutely not a cause for concern.
